Cooking lazy dumplings in a frying pan

  1. Add salt and pepper to taste to minced meat weighing 500 g, rolled together with onions. If the minced meat seems a little dry, you can add a little cold water.

  2. In a separate bowl, stir the egg.

  3. Add 120 ml of water to it.

  12. Cut the roll into small columns.

  13. Roll each resulting dumpling in flour, pressing lightly on the ends.

  14. Place dumplings in a frying pan with vegetable oil (no more than 15 g). Fry them on one side until a tender crust forms.

  15. Then pour boiling water into the pan until approximately halfway up the height of the dumplings and cover with a lid. We wait 20-30 minutes.

    If all the water has evaporated and the dumplings are not ready yet, you can add a little more boiling water.

  • containers for liquids;
  • colander or calico for flour;
  • rolling pin for dough;
  • pan;
  • kitchen whisk or table fork;
  • hammer for beating minced meat;
  • meat grinder.

Quantity of ingredients

For cooking minced meat we will need:

Using eggs when preparing minced meat gives it a pleasant airiness. But for this you only need beaten egg white.

For cooking test We need the following components:

  • water (half a glass per 250 grams);
  • flour (300 grams);
  • eggs (1 piece);
  • salt (half a teaspoon);
  • vegetable oil (1 tablespoon).

Selection of ingredients

When choosing components for both minced meat and dough, you should pay attention not only to the indicated expiration and manufacturing dates. A visual and, if possible, tactile analysis of the ingredient should also be carried out. The meat must be fresh, otherwise it is fraught with bad consequences.

Particular attention should be paid to the selection of eggs for the dish. The main thing is that they must be clean and intact. If there is damage on the eggshell, then such an egg should under no circumstances be used for preparing any dishes.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Step one - minced meat

Step two - preparing the dough

For lazy dumplings, you can use any dough recipe that suits you. But I will share with you my own, which in turn is one of the fastest and easiest, it is more convenient to make dough without yeast.

  1. Break one egg into a specially designated dough container.
  2. Then you need to take a whisk or fork and lightly beat it.
  3. There you also need to pour half a glass of water, add one tablespoon of vegetable oil and half a teaspoon of salt.
  4. It is also very good to use .
  5. To do this, you will need to take a calico or colander and carefully sift a certain amount of flour into the mixture. At the same time, you must not forget to stir. The flour should be sifted until the dough itself begins to harden.
  6. After this, you need to take out the half-finished dough and place it on the work surface, first sprinkling it with a small handful of flour so that the dough does not stick.
  7. Now you will need to knead the dough for future dumplings in a completely normal and simple way. Ultimately, you should get a smooth, homogeneous dough.
  8. It needs to be placed in a container that has been previously sprinkled with flour.
  9. Then you need to cover the dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  10. After this, you need to take out the dough, divide it into two equal parts, put one back and cover, and start rolling the other with a rolling pin. It is best to make the dough thin, so you will get more dumplings. Roll out the dough to the size of a long rectangle.

For beginners, I suggest watching this video, which describes in detail and clearly and, most importantly, shows the entire process of kneading dough.

Step three - spreading minced meat over the surface of the dough

The thickness of the meat layer depends on your preference. For this you need to use about half of all the minced meat, so that the rest is enough for the second batch of dumplings.

  1. After all the steps, you should start rolling it into a roll from the wide part of the dough.
  2. After folding your dough, you can press the remaining seam so that you are completely sure that the dough will not fall apart.
  3. After this, you can cut our roll and send it to the frying pan, after pressing the dumplings and rolling them in flour.

  4. Before delivering the dumplings to the frying pan, you need to heat it up and add a little vegetable oil. Then you can lay out our dumplings.
  5. You need to fry them in this way until their lower part is covered with a crust.
  6. After this, you can pour boiling water over them. The water level in the frying pan should be up to half the dumpling.
  7. Now you can cover the dumplings with a lid and cook for 20-30 minutes. If necessary, add boiling water.
  8. At the end, open the lid and let the dumplings lie in the pan until the liquid evaporates from it.

Now your dumplings are completely ready!
