Don't forget to leave a comment and bon appetit!

Like the vast majority of dishes, manna does not have a single recipe. Every housewife has certain culinary tricks in her arsenal, thanks to which new recipes appear. But the dish still has a mandatory set of ingredients. The most important thing is semolina. It is thanks to her that baked goods acquire that original taste and unique aroma.

One of the most popular types of manna is its recipe with banana. And this is not surprising, because this fruit contains almost all the vitamins we need, and it is also very tasty and full of nutrients.

There are a huge variety of recipes for manna with banana, but we have chosen the best of them, which, once you try, you will undoubtedly add to your loved ones’ collection.

On kefir

Mannik is very similar to a regular sponge cake, and you need to add some kind of milk starter to the dough to make it tasty and porous. This recipe calls for the following ingredients:

  • One glass of low-fat kefir
  • Glass of granulated sugar
  • Glass of semolina
  • A glass of flour
  • 2 medium chicken eggs
  • Two bananas
  • 80-100 gr. butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.

We pour semolina into a bowl, fill it with kefir and leave it on the floor for an hour to swell. Meanwhile, melt the butter. Then add it to the semolina. Add eggs and sugar there and mix.

Then we take wheat flour and, to make the manna more tender, sift it. Then mix the flour with baking powder and add to the rest of the ingredients. After this, our dough needs to be thoroughly beaten. A mixer is ideal for this, but you can beat the mixture with a whisk. To do this, you will have to work intensively with it.

Next, take our ripe, sweet bananas, peel them, and cut them into slices. Pour half of the dough into a baking dish, place sliced bananas on top, fill them with the second half of the dough, which you should have the consistency of not too thick sour cream. Mannik needs to be baked in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 50 minutes.

Unusual dough

This original recipe involves preparing manna without flour, which makes the sponge cake very unique, but at the same time tender and tasty. Moreover, it doesn’t even contain eggs! For such baking we will need:

  • 2 good ripe bananas
  • half a glass of kefir
  • two glasses of semolina
  • glass of sugar
  • half a teaspoon of soda
  • a pinch of vanillin.

As in the previous recipe, we start preparing the sponge cake with semolina: fill it with kefir and let it swell. Then add sugar, vanillin, soda to it. It is important that we do not extinguish the soda. It’s better to take non-fat kefir. Next, we proceed in the same way as the recipe presented above describes: mix everything very thoroughly, pour half of the dough into a pre-prepared mold (it can be greased with oil and sprinkled with semolina beforehand), lay out bananas, cut as you please, and cover with the other half test. Place the manna in the oven for about 40 minutes.

Cream

There are even more options for preparing creams than manna recipes, but whipped cream goes best with this dish. To prepare such a cream, there is a simple recipe: take a glass of good heavy cream, put 3 tablespoons of sugar in it, beat thoroughly with a mixer until a strong airy mass is obtained. We carefully lubricate our manna with this cream. By the way, for the cream to have an exquisite coffee aroma, just put 50 grams of coffee beans in it and put it in the refrigerator overnight.

As you can see, the recipe for a tender and tasty sponge cake is even simpler than you thought and requires a minimum of ingredients and time.
