To prepare the “Three Flavors” salad you will need simple and affordable ingredients

  • Fresh carrots (large) - 3 pieces,
  • Beetroot (boiled large) – 3 pieces,
  • Black or white raisins (seedless) – 150 grams,
  • Walnuts (shelled) – 200 grams,
  • Cheese (hard varieties) – 300 grams,
  • Garlic – 2 cloves (large),
  • Mayonnaise (olive) - to taste.

First you need to boil the beets until tender, then pour cold water over them to cool quickly and drain the water. We clean the beets for the puff salad and grate them on a coarse grater.

For the first layer of salad you will need: carrots, raisins (which should be pre-steamed with hot water), mayonnaise. Carrots should be grated on a medium or fine grater. Soak the sorted raisins and leave for 15 minutes, then drain the water and dry the berries. Now mix the grated carrots and raisins in a deep bowl, season everything with mayonnaise and mix.

For the next layer, you will need to mix cheese grated on a medium grater with peeled garlic cloves passed through a garlic press. Season everything with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.

The third layer is formed from boiled beets, which we grate on a coarse grater and mix with chopped walnuts. The excellent combination of carrots and cheese in the salad makes the salad unusually tender. It is advisable to use hard cheese, not processed cheese.

I would like to introduce you to a new delicious salad that our family loves very much, but not everyone has such an unambiguous attitude towards it. After all, it combines seemingly incompatible foods: sweet, salty and spicy.

For a simple spicy salad recipe you will need:

  • Raw carrots – 3 pcs. large.
  • Boiled beets – 3 pcs. large.
  • Seedless raisins – 150 gr.
  • Walnuts – 200 grams.
  • Hard cheese (for example, Russian) – 300 grams.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Mayonnaise – 500-600 gr.

How to make a delicious and simple beet and carrot salad

1 layer of salad:

Grate the raw carrots on a fine grater, sort out the raisins and soak in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Dry with a paper towel. Mix carrots with raisins, add mayonnaise, mix everything thoroughly.

Place in a vase as the first layer, smooth with a spoon.


2nd layer of salad:

Grate the cheese (it can be grated either coarse or fine - at your discretion), grate the garlic on a fine grater and mix well with the cheese. Add mayonnaise and mix again.

Place a second layer on the carrots.


3rd layer of salad:

Grate the boiled beets on a coarse grater and chop the nuts. Mix everything, adding mayonnaise. In this salad, beets and carrots will work very well with hard goat cheese.

Place a third layer on the cheese.

Ingredients

  • Raisins – 30-40 g, about a handful;
  • Fresh small beets – 200 g;
  • Raw carrots – 200 g;
  • Kiwi – 1 pc. 50 g;
  • Garlic – 1 clove;
  • Hard cheese – 100 g;
  • Mayonnaise to taste;
  • Parsley for decoration.

Preparation

The raisins must first be washed and soaked in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Then drain the water and dry it with napkins. For this salad, you can use both dark and light raisins of any size.


Wash small beet tubers and wrap in foil, bake for 30-40 minutes until tender. Cool and peel off the skin. Carrots can also be baked in foil. Its baking time is shorter than that of beets, so be careful not to burn them in the oven.


Peel the garlic and chop thinly. Grate the beets and carrots on a coarse grater. Place them in different containers. First place the beets and a little garlic in the serving ring on the plate. Compact the beet layer and add mayonnaise.


Carefully place the grated carrots in the next layer, add a little garlic and mayonnaise to it.


Peel and thinly slice the kiwi and place it on the carrot layer.


Grate the cheese on a special grater, place it in the next layer on the kiwi. Add some garlic.

- 1 beet,
- 1 carrot,
- 70 grams of walnuts,

I immediately grate the hard cheese on a fine grater, then grate the peeled cloves of hot garlic on the same grater.




I pour mayonnaise over the cheese mixture and stir. This way I get a cheese layer for the salad. I put it aside.




I grate the cooked and cooled carrots onto a larger grater, add washed raisins to it and pour mayonnaise on it again. I mix and get a carrot layer for the salad.




I rub the cooked beets on a coarse grater and add chopped walnuts to it. I add them to make a beetroot layer for the salad.






I lay out the salad in layers: a carrot layer, a cheese layer and a beet layer.
