To prepare a salad with beets, herring and apples we will need:
200 g lightly salted herring;
2 medium beets;
1/2 apple (it is better to take apples of sweet and sour varieties, for example “seven”);
1/2 medium red onion.
For refueling:
70 g vegetable oil;
1 tbsp. l. mustard beans (can be replaced with 1/4 tsp regular mustard);
1 tbsp. l. lemon juice;
1 tsp. honey;
salt, pepper - to taste.

Cut the herring into fillets, removing all the seeds. Peel the apple and remove seeds. Also cut the herring fillet and apple into strips and add to the salad with the beets.

To prepare the dressing, combine vegetable oil, mustard, lemon juice, honey and mix thoroughly.

Chop the onion and add to the salad. Season everything with pepper, salt, and pour over the dressing.

Salad with herring and beets, but not a fur coat! Do you know this recipe? I know. And, by the way, I make it much more often than making herring under a fur coat. Because it's simpler.
