Fried bread rolls with cheese. Bread rolls for toast with berries. Sandwich rolls with mixed filling

Toast rolls are another easy-to-prepare dish that's perfect for a quick breakfast or midday snack. And it would also be appropriate on the holiday table as an appetizer. To prepare such rolls, it is best to use toast or sandwich bread (rye, wheat or bran). But, if you don’t have one, take a regular molded one or some kind. The berries are suitable both fresh and frozen. And for additional taste and tenderness, stock up on soft cream cheese (processed or curd). In addition, in the process of preparing this dish you will need an omelet mixture (consisting, according to the classics, of milk and eggs) and dry breading (here you can experiment using crackers, nuts, corn or oat flakes).

Ingredients:

  • sandwich bread - 6 slices;
  • frozen berries (currants and raspberries) - a large handful;
  • processed cream cheese (“Jolly Milkman” or “Hochland”) – 150-170 gr.;
  • sweet corn flakes - 1-2 handfuls;
  • chicken egg (grade 1) – 2 pcs.;
  • milk – 30 ml;
  • vegetable oil - no more than 2 tablespoons (it is only needed to lubricate the foil).
  • Yield: 6 toasts (barely sweet just from the berries).
  • Cooking time – 30 minutes.

How to make toast rolls:

Immediately turn on the oven, setting the heating temperature to 180 °C.

If the bread you are using has a hard crust, carefully cut it in a thin layer along the entire perimeter of the slices. If the crust is soft, then there is no need to cut it off. Armed with a rolling pin, roll out a piece of bread, thereby making it at least half thinner. At the same time, it will also increase slightly in size.

Next, spread the resulting bread cake with soft cheese (adjust the thickness of the spread layer to your taste) and place a row of berries along one edge. Those with a sweet tooth can also sprinkle a little sugar.

Roll the bread into a roll. Do the same manipulations with the remaining slices of bread and place the rolls on a plate.

Now prepare everything for breading. Beat eggs and mix with milk. If desired, sweeten the egg mixture by adding a little granulated sugar. Vanillin will not be superfluous in this case. Grind the corn flakes into crumbs using a blender.

First dip each roll in the egg mixture.

Then roll in corn crumbs.

Line a baking sheet (preferably with low sides) with a sheet of foil (or parchment) and grease it with oil. Place breaded bread rolls with berries on a sheet, leaving a little space between them (so they don't touch each other). Place the baking sheet in the oven for literally 13-15 minutes.

You can serve toast rolls with berries either hot or cooled.

If you don’t want to bake the rolls in the oven, fry them in a frying pan in butter, but then their calorie content will increase significantly.

Bon appetit!!!

Hello to all lovers of tasty snacks. Today is another portion of recipes for lazy people, but ones that are worthy of a festive table - bread rolls. This is a kind of stuffed bread.

Which bread to choose for roll sandwiches

To make rolls (filled or stuffed bread), you need to use fresh black or white bread that bends easily and does not break when rolled.

You can also use tin bread: it can be easily cut into wide slices and the crust can be easily cut off. Such sandwiches are greased with various oil mixtures and pates.

Cut the crust off a loaf of black or white bread. Cut lengthwise into long thin slices, cover them with a thick layer of filling and roll them into a roll.

You need to roll it carefully so that there is no empty space left. Wrap the roll tightly in cellophane, plastic wrap or parchment and keep in a cool place for 3-4 hours.

During this time, the bread will cool and the filling will harden. Slice just before serving. The color of the filling should contrast with the color of the bread.

You can spread liver pate, various bright mixtures with tomatoes, carrots or herbs on white bread, and white, pink, light fillings on black bread.

The filling can also consist of several layers of different colors; in this case, the bread must be rolled very carefully so as not to squeeze out the filling. For greater effect, you can put pieces of bread of different colors in one roll, and between them - filling of different colors.

Bread roll (stuffed bread) can be prepared from scraped loaf or black bread. It needs to be filled and allowed to harden in a cold place, then cut into slices.

These sandwiches are served cold, as the softened filling is difficult to cut and may fall out.

If you use a loaf, then cut it lengthwise into two halves, take out part of the crumb, leaving it 1 cm at the crust, fill the cavity with minced meat, connect the halves, giving the appearance of a whole loaf, cool and cut crosswise before serving.

Here's an example of a hot sandwich:

We wish you bon appetit! See you soon!

It's very easy to whip up delicious snack rolls with filling. To do this, you need to buy bread for toast and processed cheese in advance. This dish will be a good appetizer for a holiday table or a hearty breakfast for the whole family. White bread rolls can be prepared simply with cheese inside, or diversified with different fillings - each time giving the same dish different flavors.

Ingredients:

  • white toast bread - 300 grams;
  • processed cheese - 150 grams;
  • chicken eggs - 3 pieces;
  • breadcrumbs - 70 grams;
  • vegetable oil - for frying;
  • salt - to taste;
  • ground black pepper - to taste.

Delicious snack rolls with filling. Step by step recipe

  1. First we need to prepare the bread. For white bread snack rolls, toast bread works best. It has a denser structure, but is also quite elastic. If the bread for toast is already cut into portions, then you just need to cut off the crusts on all sides. If the bread is not sliced, then cut it into pieces one centimeter thick.
  2. Then use a rolling pin to roll each piece of bread several times to release the air. The bread will no longer be so fluffy and will thicken a little.
  3. On each flatbread we place a sheet of processed cheese: for this you need to buy the cheese in the form of slices. If you have regular processed cheese, then first cut it into thin slices.
  4. Roll the bread and cheese into a tight roll.

Advice. You can roll any meat into these bread rolls as a filling: for example, balyk or boiled sausage, also pre-thinly sliced. You can add dill or green onions to the cheese. In the summer, bread rolls will be very tasty if you add straws of sweet bell pepper to the cheese filling, and if you take three multi-colored peppers, then white bread rolls will turn out not only tasty, but also original and beautiful.

  1. In a separate bowl, beat three eggs with salt and ground black pepper.

Separately prepare the breadcrumbs. They should be small. For beauty, you can add a little turmeric to the crackers: it will give the breading a more golden, rich color.

  1. Rolled snack rolls should be dipped in beaten eggs and rolled in breadcrumbs.
  2. Then immediately fry in a frying pan in a large amount of hot vegetable oil.

Advice. The pan should be taken with high sides so that the rolls are completely submerged in the oil. You can take half vegetable oil and half pork lard. Don't worry: lard has no foreign taste or smell. But its temperature when heated is higher than that of vegetable oil, so dishes cooked with lard have a more fried color.

  1. Fry the filled rolls in a frying pan on all sides and place on a paper towel to drain off all excess fat.

Continuing the theme of bread rolls, you can also make a dessert dish. Instead of processed cheese, spread the bread pieces with chocolate or nut butter, or vanilla milk cream. But in this case, the beaten eggs need to be slightly salted and vanilla sugar added. You can also fry it in vegetable oil, or you can use margarine. Children really like these sweet rolls.

Ready-made snack rolls with filling should be served hot, then the crust will be crispy and golden with tender melted cheese inside. When cut, such rolls have a very original and unusual appearance. Especially if you cook it with several fillings at once. Cook with our website “I Love to Cook” and all your dishes will be not only tasty, but also original.
